Visioning

The panel heard, loud and clear, about local hot-button issues and the hardships being endured, especially regarding current water, labor and pest exclusion conditions.

At these listening sessions, the public was invited to provide input into the planning of a strategic agricultureal vision for California through 2030.

The full-house crowd, which came from all corners of San Diego County and from neighboring counties, heard 37 speakers address the pannel, 26 of whom represented the local agriculture community. The session was professionally videotaped and is expected to be posted on the CDFA Website by mid-August.
