Irrigated Lands Group discount expires June 30
On June 30 the discount for early enrollment into the San Diego Region Irrigated Lands Group will end. Prior to that date participants will pay $150 per acre, capped at $750 for the one-time entry fee. On July 1st the full rate of $200 per acre capped at $1000 will go into effect.
The San Diego Region Irrigated Lands Group (SDRILG) now has nearly 1,200 farms and 35,000 acres enrolled, but there’s room for plenty more. . . [More]

Farmers' Markets
The Farm Bureau has opened two new farmers’ markets. The National City Farmers’ Market opened on May 6 in National City followed by the San Marcos Farmers’ Market on May 13 at Cal State San Marcos.
